Recently, the 2nd World Organic Demonstration Zone Conference and the 2nd International Desert and Dryland Organic Agriculture Conference were successfully held in Idanha-a-Nova, Portugal. Over 100 scholars, experts, and industry professionals from 23 countries gathered to discuss the development direction and future trends of organic agriculture.

China Shengmu Organic Dairy Co., Ltd. (referred to as "China Shengmu"), as the organizer of the first International Desert and Dryland Organic Agriculture Conference and a co-organizer of the second edition, was invited to attend this prestigious event. At the opening ceremony, China Shengmu's President, Zhang Jiawang, was invited by Idanha-a-Nova Mayor Armindo Jacinto to deliver a speech. He shared the journey of China Shengmu's efforts over the past decade in transforming barren desert land into a vibrant oasis in the Ulan Buh Desert. He also introduced the company’s achievements in desert ecological restoration and organic agriculture development through a series of innovative and sustainable methods.

He emphasized that China Shengmu has long been committed to promoting sustainable agricultural production, with organic dairy as its core focus. During the conference, China Shengmu also signed a memorandum of cooperation with the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements Asia (IFOAM Asia) and the U.S. Organic Center (FOFCC). The three parties will collaborate closely in the field of sustainable development, jointly creating an international research platform for desert and dryland organic agriculture, sharing experiences and technologies, and contributing to the global development of organic agriculture.

During the event, the guests watched a documentary about China Shengmu and highly praised the company's industrial practices in land management and ecological restoration in arid regions.
