The Sustainable Livestock Global Agenda Multi-Stakeholder Platform (MSP) aims to build a long-term, collective-action-based path towards sustainable development and consensus through dialogue, consultations, and collaborative research among government departments, industry stakeholders, the scientific community, and social organizations. It seeks to establish stakeholder partnerships for sustainable livestock and tackle the challenges facing the livestock industry. The platform is working to set a global agenda for the sustainable development of livestock, promote sustainable growth in the food and agricultural sectors, and ensure that these goals are effectively implemented in practice.
Additionally, the 6th Hongqiao International Economic Forum, focusing on "Enhancing the Resilience of Global Industrial and Supply Chains," was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The forum was co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the UN Global Compact, and organized by the China International Import Expo Bureau and the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE). The forum invited renowned experts and business representatives from both domestic and international circles to explore the development trends of global industrial and supply chains, China’s role within this framework, and other related topics, contributing to the continued recovery of the global economy. Representatives from China Shengmu's Sustainable Development Department were invited to participate in both events.
