Mr. Wu Liang

aged 50, was appointed as an independent non-executive director of the company on December 22, 2020. He also serves as a member of the audit committee and the remuneration committee. He is currently a distinguished professor of Tongji University and the executive dean of the National Institute of Modernization of Tongji University. Mr. Wu joined Xinhua News Agency in 1993 and has served in various entities of Xinhua News Agency for more than 25 years. From 2006 to 2018, he served successively as the director of the economic department and a member of the editorial board of the Xinhua News Agency Liaowang Weekly, the executive deputy editor and executive editor-in-chief of the National Weekly of Finance and Economics, and the chairman and president of the Liaowang Think Tank. Mr. Wu graduated from Shandong University with a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1993 and graduated from the China Academy of Journalism with a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1998.
